Another fantastic National Windsufing Festival down at Hayling Island. Perfect conditions to allow both non-windsurfing spectators (lots!) and competitors some fun.

Very little wind in the morning so sailed the long-board up to the start area, but then it felt like it picked up a bit, so ran back and got my Manta. It was just about okay for the day, so the longboard sat on the beach until the end when it needed sailing "home".

Had quite a good day, with 17th, 24th, (61st) and 7th place races, leaving me in 15th at the end of the day. Didn't sail on Sunday so my final place will unfortunately be much worse!

Still the best windsurfing event of the year, I can't understand why some people don't go - guess if they've never been they don't know what fun they're missing ;)

[Downside: my feet really hurt after running on the shingle]
